Asian Games: PSF hopeful of squash gold

A four-member Pakistan squash team will take part in the Asian Games to be held in China next month. The Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) is hopeful of winning a gold medal in the Games to be held in the Chinese city of Guangzhou from November 12 to 27.

Our players are in an excellent form and we are optimistic about winning gold medal in the Asian Games,” PSF secretary general Irfan Asghar says.

“Aamir Atlas Khan, Farhan Mahboob, Yasir Butt and Danish Atlas will represent Pakistan in the Asian Games. All of them are working really hard in the camp under coach Fahim Gul,” he adds. The PSF official said Pakistan would have comparatively easy competition in the Asian Games than the Commonwealth Games where the national players failed to show good results.
